Fire Sprinkler Repairs 8/3-8/14

Fire inspectors from A&D Fire Sprinklers Inc. will be onsite to conduct the required fire sprinkler repairs for the One Harbor Drive Homeowners Association.

Repairs will be taking place August 3rd – August 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays Monday through Friday, all residents/owners parking spaces listed on the schedule need to make plans to provide access to their parking space. Please refer to the notice posted in the mail rooms and emailed to residents.

The repairs are also a mandatory requirement by the State Fire Marshall as noted in NFPA 25, California edition.  In order to complete the certification, the Association is required to have a certified inspector complete necessary repairs in the building which includes individual parking areas in addition to the common area hallways.

Please note that no repairs will be taking place within the residential units.

Emergency Rule Change RE: Masks and Elevator Travel

In an Executive Emergency Meeting of the One Harbor Drive Board of Directors on July 7, 2020 the Board the following Emergency Rules and Regulations were adopted and will go into effect immediately. These rules are in place for 120 days from July 7, 2020 – November 4, 2020.
In response to numerous requests from homeowners and for the continued safety and health of our residents the Board has enacted the following

Emergency Rules.
All residents are required to:
1) Wear a face mask over their nose and mouth while in enclosed common area which include: corridors, elevators, lobby, garage, Library, and cabana. No mask is required while inside the fitness center so long as social distancing is maintained.
2) Travel in the elevators in single occupancy or with other people living in the same household.

In keeping within the parameters of Social Distancing, the Board will continue to hold its meetings via teleconference for an indefinite period of time. Management will continue to send out a notice prior to the General Session Meeting with a link to attend as well as post it in the mail rooms and on the agenda (available by logging into Meeting dates and times will remain the same – every 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

Elevator Occupancy

REMINDER: The staff and residents are asked to minimize the elevator occupancy to one rider or one household at a time. If you see someone already in the elevator, it’s okay to politely say, “I’ll get the next one” then wait for the next cab.

The elevators are being cleaned every hour by the janitorial team especially the commonly touched buttons. Please help by covering your coughs and sneezes even if you’re alone in the elevator.

Social Committee Volunteers

The Social Committee is looking for volunteers to help with planning and running future events. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Management to be included on the interest list.

Submit Your Ballot for Annual Meeting

Homeowners – Please submit your ballot for the Annual Meeting. Be sure to review the statements from the candidates and complete the ballot according to the directions. You can either mail your ballot back to the Ballot Box OR bring it to the Annual Meeting which will take place on April 9 at 5:30 pm in the Cabana. It’s important to note that polls open at 5:15 pm and close at 5:30 pm. Please DO NOT give your ballot to the front desk or Management as The Ballot Box MUST collect your ballot directly in order for it to be valid and counted.
